ABOUT OBSIDIAN
Obsidian is a volcanic glass that was first manufactured into weapons and used as an energy cleanser dating back to the stone age.

Element – Having come directly from a volcano, black obsidian contains the elements of earth, water, and fire.

MY EXPERIENCE
Chichen-Itza | The Mayan Land
During my trip to Chichen-Itza in 2022, (one of the wonders of the world) I had the pleasure of bringing back with me an obsidian crystal necklace made from the hands of the Yucatan natives.
I was lucky to be energetically cleansed by a Mayan shaman during a personal ceremony I received for purchasing their jewelry.

Meditating Back Home | The Rooting Crystal
During my first meditation with it, I was given an affirmation, “I give the Love they deserve. I receive the Love I deserve.”
“They”, meaning the people, my reflections, YOU.
My obsidian had given me awareness that I had created a continuous cycle of not accepting love because I didn’t feel loved as a child and for that reason, I couldn’t show affection and be loving to my partner.
I had created a blockage of not being able to give and receive genuine love. This translated into unconsciously refusing affection, low libido and feeling distant.
I intuitively felt the crystal move my arms continuously in circular motions.
Then, I recited my affirmation for one minute until I felt my energy shifting. I felt full, vibrant, understood and most importantly, loved. Obsidian is a great grounding crystal so there was no surprise when my mind visualized long roots under me that reached into the core of the earth and rising, growing into a beautiful tree, spreading its branches and leaves all around my crown chakra.
Personally, Obsidian has helped me release deep traumas and has reset my mindset and emotional state to reprogram me to feel ALL the Love I deserve so I can give Love the way I do. Lovingly.

My Mayan Wedding | The Crystal that Brings Connection
During the spiritual ceremony, we were given an obsidian dagger to hold with our mouths.
